Cosi7 provides the highest level of training for emerging musicians and artists. We offer programs to enhance your skills. Led by acclaimed professionals in the business, we bring you the opportunity to learn from the best.
Programs
Cosi 7 offers several training courses for aspiring instrumentalists, composers and singers. We offer a variety of courses to nurture talented young artists through engaging training and performance opportunities. Participants receive training in audition presentation, musical style and interpretation, role preparation, movement and acting, conducting, language and diction, breath work and professional development.
Participants receive training from esteemed renowned faculty, many of whom return time and again to impart their invaluable wisdom to the next generation. Faculty members are active performers, as well as gifted teachers and coaches dedicated to nurturing the talents of young artists and further their skill set.
UPCOMING PROGRAMS
A full day focusing on Bel Canto and Verismo repertoire. Working on style, vocal technique and staging. Four coaches to guide you to enhance your approach to this wonderful operatic repertoire.
Faculty:
Maya Barsacq – French/American conductor, composer and former opera singer. Founder and co-director of Zenith Opera Competition.
Rolando Garza Rodriguez – Mexican opera coach. He currently works at Bremen Opera. Formerly at Opéra National du Rhin, Theater Basel. Italian repertoire specialist and has collaborated with artists of international acclaim; such as Dame Kiri Te Kanawa, Mirella Freni, Sherrill Milnes, and Anna Moffo. He has been on the coaching staff of many international summer opera programs.
John Alder: enjoys a considerable reputation as a most distinguished and sought after accompanist with such world renowned artist as Christa Ludwig, Dame Gywneth Jones, Lucia Popp, Cheryl Studer, Francisco Araiza, Hans Sotin and Placido Domingo.
Detlef Soelter: Opera Stage director with more than 50 productions in major opera houses in Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia, Switzerland, Austria and Great Britain. Soetler also coaches singers and has given many masterclasses, audition trainings,
